May 7th is a date we at WBTP have had marked on our calendar for as long as we can remember though the fate just keeps giving. We've previewed the the other 3 title fights but before we get onto the IBF Middleweight title fight between German Sebastian Sylvester and Australian challenger Daniel Geale we'd just like to tell you about how brilliant the day is for boxing fans.
Starting in the land of the rising sun we have our first world title fight as Koki Kameda defends the WBA Bantamweight title against Daniel Diaz on a card that also includes Tomoki Kameda and Masao Nakamura.
In the UK we have the very interesting looking Prizefighter International Heavyweights which includes former world challenger Kevin “Kingpin” Johnson, Tye “Big Sky” Fields, “Fast” Fres Oquendo, Mike “The Rebel” Perez, Juan Carlos Gomez, Konstantin Airich, Gregory Tony and Michael Sprott.
In the USA we have Wilfredo Vazquez Jr v Jorge Arce and of course Manny Pacquiao v “Sugar” Shane Mosley. As well as the return of Kelly “The Ghost” Pavlik.
